Why more riots? Because Derek Chauvin should be acquitted, even if it turns out his racist lynching is ultimately successful. He not only did nothing wrong, he performed admirably, exactly as trained, under extreme stress. The man deserves a commendation. Many people who fled the riots moved only a little way: From the gentrified core of the rioted cities to their ring suburbs. This will prove to have been a poor idea – although it should afford plenty of opportunities to placate and worship Grasshoppers before the Ants are completely devoured.
