Ok, here’s the first episode for the CRM Channel. It’s a quick peek under the hood at ClientLunchbox.Com that I made tonight using the cool twitter integrated, web based screen capture tool, Screenr.Com.
[Just a quick disclosure, because I’m scared poopless of ever plugging stuff here: Dane Maxwell, the guy who created ClientLunchbox asked me if I would write a blog post about his product months ago. I told him I would, so here it is. At the time, I was thinking HouseYourMom.Com but sorta forgot, so I’m overcompensating by talking about Lunchbox on the big stage. For the record, Dane builds stuff for Realtors, but he didn’t even know what BloodhoundBlog was. Blasphemy, I know. I only mention because of the vendor sensitivity around here…. and… I guess I’d like to add — I’m hoping it’ll be cool to do a lot more (honest, nonpaid) vendor reviews in the coming months because at the risk of appearing to be hawking something, I think this kinda stuff is interesting to a lot of folks? ]
Anyway…here’s the video. It’s been set up with the “secret tag” for the CRM channel in Youtube and should flow onto the CRM page within a few hours…
And for a more in – depth view use my affiliate link, or if you prefer, this clean link to some more info about Client Lunchbox.
[So what’d you think? Anyone else want to do a similar screencast review for BloodhoundBlog.Tv? ]

Ryan,
I like the new video series you’ve put together. However this program as you alluded to in your video is missing some key features.
I don’t know about you but i’m a strong Blackberry User who is connected to the BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) which syncs all my pim info instantly. Without a direct outlook sync i’d have a hard time using it. I could be one of the few out there but I haven’t found a good way to use a CRM with my Blackberry or should I say Microsoft Outlook.
Top Producer isn’t great but it sure seems to have a better grasp on the whole idea of real estate. I don’t know about you but i’d be hard pressed to use a CRM type system that doesn’t integrate everything we need such as:
Place to store all listing information. Also the ability to pull up listing information on the fly for listing coordinators and or assistants.
Closing Plan/Listing Plans/Buyer Follow Up Plans.
I’d be curious as to what you actually use on a day to day basis for managing your business. Reviewing vendors in a non biased manner is not only extremely relevant but important to the majority of us. Sadly I understand how difficult it is to come across as non biased.
I look forward to your future series!

Ryan,
Your are cool ok…but I’m being honest. Client Lunchbox is already behind the times. The Client Lunchbox whole claim to fame is adding a contact to the CRM through email, who cares, that is not even close to what Realtors are looking for. Ryan, hear me out, this is not a foot stomping on you or your blog…please understand that.
You know I’m not going to get started on what Realtors want in a CRM, because this is for commenting not blogging. Ryan, someone at Bloodhound needs to bring up the issue of:
1) What is the absolute best CRM on the market to never forget a lead?
2) what is the absolute best IDX on the market to never forget a lead?
These are issues that I feel are important so frequent reader of this site can avoid “the drought” if possible, and it starts with one blog post at a time, until finally all opinions are on the table & a solution or several solutions are reached.
This is all in the name of not leaving money on the table, and dominating out areas.

Hey guys… thanks for the comments. Yeah, the client lunchbox review was just meant to be a starter. I’m hoping others will chime in with their own….
To answer Greg’s question. I still have never found a crm that I can stick with. At the end of the day, skimming through my google contacts and making a few calls seems to work just fine because gmail suggests contacts very nicely and few fall through the cracks…

Ryan,
Thanks for the follow up. I look forward to future posts that can help everyone. Sounds like the CRM is also a topic of concern with you as is most Realtors.

I tend to use the back end of my website as my CRM and though it is not all that wonderful it works, and I am in there every day for something so why not.
As others have said, this product looks to be missing some things that Realtors would need or want.
