Historic districts are OK if they are reasonable and planned ahead of time. This guy was singled out and now has to wait 6 months for a study of the situation. This is for a “historic district” that encompassed six (count ’em, 6) properties.
I liked the quote “it’s not like George Washington died there”. So it’s an old house. If these historic preservationists think it’s so great, why don’t they buy it?
