You Don’t Own Me is one of those songs that, when driving in a car with your girlfriends and it comes on the radio, all conversation stops and everyone in the car, regardless of talent, sings along. Typically at the top of their lungs. I can’t imagine there is a female in the free world who doesn’t know and love this anthem.
Dilego’s video is awesome. How perfect to bring a kid into the video, as most kids are naturally unchained. In fact, it’s the chained kids that set off internal alarms with me.
