There’s a ton more in Unchained clips to come, but here’s a quick taste from the work done today by BrokerIPTV.com.
To start with, Brian Brady interviews my best-beloved, Cathleen Collins:
Russell Shaw put in an appearance and spoke for about 45 minutes. We’ll have clips of that later tonight. In the mean time, here’s a post-session interview he did with BrokerIPTV.com’s Mark Eibner:
My take is that we delivered a lot of content for the first day. Our plan is to ratchet things up quite a bit over the next two days.
One of the things that I think is totally cool about what we are doing is that we aren’t just talking about it, we’re doing Social Media Marketing for the conference as we’re doing the conference. All this video is just a piece of that.
I’d love to hear from people who are at Unchained about how the first day went for them.

Greg,
Awesome first day! I especially liked the info from Mary McKnight, thereby confirming my decision to have RSSPieces do my new blog! And having Russell stop in and speak as he did was a terrific bonus. Thanks!

Great first day at Unchained! Excellent content and loaded with useful tips and ideas. I’ve already tweaked my blog based on the great info from Mary McKnight and Laurie Manny. I just posted my recap of Day 1 with all the tips, ideas and content I found most impactful.

Greg,
Today’s conference started for me with a moment I’ll never forget. At check-in, I met both you and Cathleen for the first time, and although completely off topic, I shared with you that my beloved dog, Sir, had taken ill while my wife and I visited Phoenix. My wife Beth and I had tearfully talked last night and into this morning, and our Sir still clings to his life by a thread.
Cathleen shared some stories about your dog, and in that moment I felt in her what you must revel in on a daily basis. Purity, honesty, and healing empathy, all rolled into one smart and pretty gal.
After that I expected the conference would test the limits of my very soul, when in walked Geno Petro, who reminded me that we had exchanged stories about my “movie dog” on one of his posts earlier this year. Call it what you will, I knew then that I could enjoy the conference, and that Sir’s destiny was in his own hands now.
Oh, and the conference….let me just say that it was the start of my seeing that our destiny is truly in our own hands, wrought from our own talents, and only stayed from greatness from that which we do not know, or are unwilling to learn. Mary, Laurie and Russell provided zest for a rather hard day, and a foundation for Unchained that I look forward to building upon at tomorrow’s session.

That’s very sweet of you, Don. I’m glad you were able to find value here today. Sir, Beth and you have been on my mind and in my prayers.

I’ve been checking in and out of Bloodhound as well as the YouTube Channel quite frequently today. Unfortunately I couldn’t attend even though I would have loved to be there. Sincere congratulations on the conference..
I noticed a drastic change in quality between the video posted earlier in the day (the McKnight portion etc) and the ones you just posted. Any particular reason?

Sent you an email about this. We start at 8 am — continental breakfast, then the first session at 8:30. Looking forward to meeting you.

The YouTube videos are shot with Flip cameras then compressed by YouTube.
The BrokerIPTV.com videos are shot on professional equipment, then hosted on Ustream.TV. Worlds apart.

Greg answered this well. Broker IPTV is clearly THE television network for the RE.net. Their professionalism is overshadowed by their relaxed attitude. We’re fortunate to have them as the official “news provider” for BHBU sponsored by Zillow.com

Absolutely!
Who knows.. Maybe next year they can cover the whole event. Either way, I think video is definitely the way to go to get the word out about the event. Right about now, I can’t get enough of it.

This is a good use of video.
I see so many bad ones (basically going to a website and getting sold out of the gate with slow loading video).
Still–I wish there was a way to sort of accelerate web video like pressing 2x on a DVD…
…or better yet…automatically transcribing it so I could skim text.

Quality, current, useful information. The insider resources and tips from Mary, and Ron were very helpful. More than I expected on the first day.
Laurie, Kaye and Russ. Classic industry leaders honestly, sharing their experiences, and Knowledge.
Now all I have to do is apply it.
