Teri Lussier says:
Would it be childish of me to say “Ta da”?
Okay then, I won’t say that.
Instead, let me be the first to say “Thank you Brian!”

Brian Brady says:
While those guys were needling me, they were right. The challenges of this conference have overwhelmed me a bunch and I’m learning how to do it better. Greg and I are “keeping a list” and we’ll be “checking it twice” for the next show (which will be announced at UNCHAINED).
Here’s the best part about detractors; they make you raise your A game. Here’s the second best part; if their hearts are really in the right places (and I hope they are), they’ll be secretly pulling for this to succeed (which, of course, it already has)
Teri, this conference is all about you. Thanks forever for being that inspiration.
May 11, 2008 — 12:24 pm
Teri Lussier says:
> those guys
Why Brian, I haven’t teh foggiest idea who you are talking about. 🙂
>Teri, this conference is all about you.
geez. Now I’m verklempt.
May 11, 2008 — 1:41 pm
Brian Brady says:
“Teri, this conference is all about you.”
..and Kelley Koehler, Vance Shutes, Scott from Tacoma, Brad Coy, Andy Kaufman…et al
…all the people whom I haven’t met, yet. I’m seeing the hunger, the passion, and the desire. That inspired me (and Greg) to work overtime on the content….to work harder to learn from outside of our industry…to hone these skills and turn them into dollars.
You were the inspiration, Teri. The aforementioned were the fuel. Everybody attending will be the reason to continue.

I’d hardly call it “secretly pulling for this to succeed” Brain. I’ve publicly wished Unchained success, right here on Bloodhound Blog, “the biggest weblog in the RE.net”.
Nothing secret about it…

And as you know, I wished you well privately via email.
And I meant it.
May 11, 2008 — 4:06 pm
Teri Lussier says:
I understood your comment but I’m glad you clarified this.
I’m not getting the email about this that you are, but I’m still seeing the “…the hunger, the passion, and the desire”, and I think it’s there even with those folks that might be closet supporters, who are watching from the sidelines.
Always always always- excitement generates excitement. There will be some of us that will get more out of the conference than others (that happens with every conference), but there is no way that those attending BHBU can not walk away from this without new ideas, or new ways to execute old ideas, or more focus for their own ideas… I really can’t wait to pick the brains of the only faculty yes, but also the attendees! People who have been reading and using these ideas out in the trenches, putting their own unique spin to things.
One week from now, my head will be exploding with plans I’ve never thought of, and ideas I must try. 😀

“I’d hardly call it “secretly pulling for this to succeed” Brian.
Poor choice of words. I committed what is referred to as the “informal fallacy”. Jay, you have been overt supporter of this conference from the gitgo.
DISCLOSURE: Jay sent me an inspiring e-mail to kick ass and serve our customers well. It is my intention to do just that. I’m grateful for Jay’s encouragement.
May 11, 2008 — 5:47 pm
Brad Coy says:
Thanks Brian.
I’m honored to be a small part of something the Bloodhounds have been working so hard on. Looking very much forward to the above syllabus and what you guys have to deliver. Cheers!
