What I like a lot about this is that here in Costa Rica it´s become fashionable to blame real estate agents for the fact that a few places got destroyed and overbuilt and others are in danger of going down the same road.
Before making this comment I thought about who is to blame and the answer is that I don´t have one.
What matters is people. No matter what industry you are in. Knowing Kevin Peterson and his team personally, I really enjoy seeing the benefit of the Team Eric´s work continue thru them and making a difference in Costa Rica.
Personally, I am often discouraged about how much of an impact an organization like the Eco Preservation Society can really make looking at the bigger picture.
Then I see what they are doing with their reforestation program, and most of all watch the smile on the kids faces and how they get inspired to work their projects and donate their time.
So I myself am as far from a treehugger as it can get, but I´m a sucker for positive energy and how it gets transferred.
Thank you to everyone blogging about this, buying the tickets and supporting the cause.
We can make a difference and raise awareness. Only 1,700 Mono Titi monkeys are left in this world. Cutting down just a few trees can interrupt what we call the monkey highway since monkeys will not go on the ground to continue their path. The highway breaks, the monkeys go elsewhere and if there is no place to go, the habitat suffers and it effects them.
If you already have a website, enter anyways and make it a Christmas gift for a realtor friend should you win.
God knows picking out gifts is hard enough.
Whichever website is going to be a result of this, is also going to get a lot of natural link love from real estate bloggers so my answer to those saying¨”It´s just a website” is no, it´s a lot more than that.
So go ahead everyone and buy your tickets. Here is Kevin´s blog
