Why is the NAR manipulating post dates?
Ignorance?
Stupidity?
To give the (false) impression they are meeting some stated posting schedule?
Do they think we are stupid and won’t know or care?
Should I care? Personally, I think it questions the integrity of everything else on that blog.
But maybe that’s just me…

It’s not just you. Beginner’s mistake?

“Beginner’s mistake?”
Quite possibly. Though I would think even a beginner would know there is something inherently wrong with manipulating a date.
What will be telling is if they correct the beginners mistake. I know from the log files that some at NAR are reading that blog (and I suspect they read here too). Noobie or not, if I read that I’d route it to someone who could fix it.

A little off topic…forgive me… someone who was stealing my post back dated them before I wrote them. I guess if he posted it first, then I’m the copy cat?
Hopefully NAR learns from this mistakes which carries many lessons.

It could be a beginner mistake, will be interesting to see if your blog makes them fix it.

@Ken – they changed it, I wouldn’t say they fixed it though. NARWisdom has a follow-up post.
