There’s always something to howl about.

Where are the rest of us, though? Morgan made the list, but Kris Berg, Dan Green and Doug Quance were all big names before BHB existed. Jeff Brown is sui generis and Brian Brady is ubiquitous. Michael Cook is going to write the book that explains real estate to Wall Street someday, Teri Lussier is taking over Dayton one structure at a time and Lani Anglin can’t make a move without busting another bubble at the NAR. And then there’s Russell Shaw, a category unto himself…

Congrats to Greg (and team). There’s a couple of questionable entries on that list (IMHO) but no question that Greg belongs (as well as the other regular contributors here).

So, how does one define “influential”?
1. The ability to shape public opinion of important industry issues?
2. The knack for starting meaningful conversations?
3. The total number of readers in an audience?
4. The cumulative amount of fear of and respect from others in the industry?
Any way that you define it, Greg Swann is influential and deserves to be on the list. Not to take anything away from the others, but Greg has done more to elevate the art of real estate blogging than any other person I can think of. Heck, half the posts he WRITES are art!

Bless you, Dan Green. I don’t deserve that praise, but it’s sweet nevertheless.

Oh, jeez… where’d they get that picture? I look like a horse. I think they lifted it from Hoofbeats Magazine….

360-M, that’s funnier than the cartoon!
>Where are the rest of us, though?
“He leads a team…” (Emphasis added). See? We are there. It couldn’t be more clear.
I am reworking my resume. “Inman News recognized the most 25 influential bloggers, and Kris knows a bunch of them.”
Congratulations to all – It’s much deserved.

Greg, for sure this is a win for the writing team at BHB, although I am a bit curious about several of the names on that list.
It would have been cool to open up the 25th position as a people’s choice and let the masses select the missing blog, do you have any influence at inman? 🙂

Mine was snagged from my column at the Republic, I expect on the Google Images discount plan.

I was the strongest influence on this year’s choice of Most Innovative Blogger, but that’s no help.

You noticed. The last time I did something like this, it sat there for five days and nobody saw a thing.

Greg (and team);
Congrats on the honor and even more congrats on your post re: Dustin Luther. I truly enjoy reading this blog because of the raw writing talent that is here.
One day, i’d like to be like you when I grow up…(grin). Like was said above, there are a few on this list that made me go..”huh?”, but yours, contributors here, Teresa, Noah and Dustin were all on my “Yep. Solid choice list”.
Kudos
