“Closing Escrow, The Movie”, a mockumentary mocking Realtors, opens tomorrow, apparently in a very limited distribution. Presumably this won’t stop your most pomo clients from asking you if you’ve seen it.
The trailer:
As a rule, the funniest 90 seconds of a comedy will be in the trailer. If the trailer isn’t hysterical, enduring the movie will be agony. Press play to judge for yourself. Much more at YouTube.com.

This trailer was met with an open mind just like the first time I saw Bought & Sold on HGTV. Although there were a few bright spots in the trailer the issue with real estate is making other people see how funny and bizarre our lives are. Coincidentally I see the same flaw is this trailer that I saw in that tv show: It’s not the Realtors who are comical it’s the home buyers and sellers. Always.
P.S. – I didn’t get the hair cut bit. Was it just me?

This was actually on some cable channel last night on HD satellite. I caught the last 5 minutes or so. Definitely seemed to be making fun of EVERYONE involved, not just agents.

It looks like half that cast is from Reno911, They appear to be doing the same thing to HGTV as they did to COPS. Could be funny.

It’s not TV; it’s HBO. I’ll wait for this one.
