Okay, so I wanted to say “pimp my blog” but that doesn’t make for an alliteration within a title…

I do not reccomend this plugin. It’s a great tool but not unless you want an email for every error message that someone stumbles upon. I got over 400 emails one day using this plugin.

Wow, that’s a boatload of plugins. Hard to imagine they all play well together… cool list though, see a couple worth checking out!
Some other must haves:
Chunk Urls for WordPress – keeps long URLS from breaking comments. I wish more people used this one…
Secure and Accessible PHP Contact Form – the BEST contact form plug in.
Subscribe To Comments – allows, well, subscribing to comments.
WordPress Database Backup – simple one-click backup of your WP database. You DO back it up, don’t you?

Crudsy, the URLs didn’t stick. They should be Google-able.

Now THAT is a killer list of WP plugins! I picked up quite a few I was totally unaware of. Thank you!
Also don’t forget about:
***Popularity Contest***
http://alexking.org/projects/wordpress/popularity-contest
Popularity Contest is a WordPress plugin that keeps track of activity on your blog and calculates a popularity percentage for each post and page. The popularity display you see: “Popularity: 27% [?]” is the rank of that post or page compared to the other posts and pages on the site. Since page view counts, etc. are cumulative, newer posts will generally have lower popularity values than older posts. This, of course, evens out over time. The values for different events (page views, feed views, comments, etc.) are configurable on a per-site basis, so each site may rank their content differently.
***Search Everything***
http://dancameron.org/wordpress/wordpress-plugins/search-everything-wordpress-plugin/
By default, WordPress is setup to search every post. What they don’t tell you is that doesn’t include pages. However, with the Search Everything plugin, you can search pages, posts and more.
No only will Search Everything allow you to include pages in your WordPress search, but also comments, drafts, attachments and custom meta fields. You get to choose what extra fields you want to include which is good as I have no idea why you’d want to include drafts or un-approved comments.
This is really handy for those that use WordPress as their website content management system. I’ve used WordPress not as a blogging platform, but as an easy content management source. Some sites have more pages than posts and searching proves problematic.

beware of www enforce. It SERIOUSLY blew up my blog and I have not yet recovered. I do NOT recommend that plugin.

Maureen: That plugin works but why use that when two little lines on the .htacss file can do the same thing? A lot of the plugins can be bypassed by writing a line or two of code in your .htacss file

Thank you for that information, I use word press for most of the blogs I set up for my clients, as well as with my own real estate blog. Even with using word press as often as I do, I wasn’t aware that there were so many beneficial plug ins…I already have a few in mine that I’m going to implement asap!
Another thing I came across the other day that I’m really excited for is a facebook-type network for the real estate industry. I set up an account to help build my real estate network, and I was also able to set up my own personal blog on there so other people in my network could see it. I’ve already gotten in contact with some people that have the same interests as me with my goals with real estate, and I’m excited to use their blog to get my ideas out there to more people! Check it out when you get a chance:
