Via TechCrunch, here’s a new category for the taxonomy: Home Remodeling/Refurbishing/Restoration. The idea had occurred to me, but I wasn’t sure the category even exists in weblog form. Refurber, the site cited by TechCrunch, is not a weblog. Even so, it is the rarest of things in Web 2.0, a social networking web site that motivates return visits.

Speaking of taxonomy, I have an idea of what I want to do with my own blog and yes it will be once again a real estate blog, abit a much radical and different blogging strategy (blogging for google and localism both) but at the current moment, the tagging system on WordPress does not meet my needs. I am hoping that once the newer version of WordPress comes out, their tagging system which they were supposed to include in the previous update will finally allow me to do what I have planned. I have some books on home inspections and appraisals, so I am also planning to use my blog to help those do it yourself types know what to look for.
