Bless you, Tom, and everyone who has commented here and on Facebook. It’s so funny for people to do for me what I would never even think to do for them. No, I’m not being rude, just insensate. I’ve been aware of this birthday — much more than ever before, which disturbs me — but I had forgotten it today until I looked at my phone.
Heres’ the true fact of Greg’s life at 52: I have been felled by a pack of Unchained dogs. After we finished the show Friday night, I fell asleep sitting up, fully clothed, in my hotel room. I knew by the time I got to John Wayne Airport that I was going to pay hell for playing too long in heaven, and my time since then has involved a lot of sneezing, sweating and sleeping. I’m crossing my fingers that I’m over the hump by now, but I take a certain delight in having undoubted proof that I gave the show, the dawgs and our guests everything I had.
Tom Johnson: We need to meet you. Have us out to Houston to do a conference so we can work you like a dawg, too.
Teri Lussier says:

Doug Quance says:
Happy belated birthday, Greg. Like Al said – no matter what, you’re still younger than I am… albeit only by four days.
When asked how old I was, I had to think about how old my sister is… and how much older than her that I am…
Perhaps one day I’ll tell you how I managed to go from being 26 to being 28 without being 27. π
