This particular blizzard is in New Jersey, but it’s a lot more fun to see it from here. I’ll do my best to make a video the next time it snows in Phoenix — if I live that long.
There’s always something to howl about.

The world is so breathtakingly beautiful just after a snowstorm. But then truly, attitude is everything.

Hi Greg! Just got back from sled riding with my wife and the kids, and had the time of our life. I’ve been to Phoenix, and it’s a great place to visit, but I would never trade sledding and skiing for all that sand! 🙂
Happy New Year to you!!

We just walked the dogs for the first time since I smashed my elbow. Sunny and 63 degrees, a little nippy. Enjoy the snow, y’all. I’m loving it right where it is.

I love Greg’s post, and I love a bit of snow. I’m just glad in 2011 we all still have the choice of which climate we want to live in!
It is also great to hear Greg’s back out walking those dogs, which is more challenging on the snow and ice. Cheers!

Bless you, sir. Thank you.
Saw the orthopedic surgeon yesterday. Full extension, which was the big worry. Radial movement is good, as is my dexterity. I can’t quite touch my shoulder with my left hand, but that’s getting closer and closer. The tendons at the elbow lock up into atrophy mode right away, so it take work to stretch them back out again. Allowing for the kind of idiot bone spurs you get with any bone injury, I should be at 100% within a few weeks. Could have been much worse.

Snow in Phoenix today, although I didn’t see it.
