Thanks for your indulgence. This was an ugly mess, but, by now, it should be over.

YAY!
Good news. Very slow loading here. This is the only site that I have noticed being slow lately. I am going to do a bit of digging around but at this point while you’re back you’re slow =)

Y’all might take it easy, just a little bit. First, it takes days for a change like this to settle down. Second, it’s highly likely that there is broken code in these pages. I write in a very server-independent style now, but this site is more than four years old. That’s a lot of clogged arteries in dog years. Give it some time, if you would.

Here in beautiful San Diego, with a night of rain under our belts, all the PC’s in the area are clearly happy. The site loads within a few seconds, allows access to “comments” within seconds, and seems to me to be much, much faster than before.
I emptied my cache just to make sure. Looks as if the anticoagulants have started to work as promised.

Seems roughly 50% faster than even this morning. Win.

Much, much faster now! Loving this Greg! Thanks so much for making the site better for everyone.

You must have Under Dog and Mighty Mouse pushing the site. Super fast in Texas.

Speed is still not right, shoot for sub 4 on Pingdom.
But, this will double the traffic sent by Google.

We’re getting spidered to death right now. The other sites have settled down, so, with luck, this is temporary. I left one big time suck here, for convenience, but that’s going to have to move, too.
