This is beyond all doubt the most unusual historic home we have ever seen. The exterior is composed of Clinker Brick, production bricks that got just a little too friendly with the kiln fire. The gnarled bricks are so ugly they're beautiful.

This home is in The Villa Verde Historic District, which was built in its entirety by seminal Phoenix home-builder Frank B. Wallace.
